Oh, Hi! Welcome to my food blog (plus the occasional random post, which will probably be about cats or bikes). I decided that instead of spamming my Facebook friends with pictures of my delicious looking food, I would spam them with links to a food blog instead... that's better.. right?
About me:
-I race for a pretty awesome cycling team. We just so happen to be sponsored by some yummy ingredients and very willing taste-testers! They would be the source of the note above that now has a spot on the fridge.
-That's totally water, just FYI. I was thirsty, and they refused to bring more water. ---->
-I like to eat. And bake. As much as possible. (Sometimes I cook real food too!) Most of the time I'm following recipes, but I'm venturing into the world of experimenting.. this is sometimes really good, and sometimes really bad. I do not guarantee that everything on here will be reproducible! Since this is part of the experiment, I am trying to be better about measuring and timing and things like that, so bear with me :)
-Because of said yummy sponsor (and resulting supply of peanut butter), several recipes may be peanut butter inspired, but this blog is definitely not limited to pb only! I am welcome to any challenges or requests, just send them my way!
-Sometimes, I attempt to be healthy. Okay, okay; most of the time. When it comes to baking though, I prefer to first make something how it is meant to be (with ALL the butter and good stuff) and then mess with it. The whole point is to make other people fat anyway, isn't it?
-I have two biology degrees. Why is this relevant? It means English was never my strong suit, so I apologize in advance for bad grammar and run-on sentences. Also, I <3 the serial comma and refuse to stop using it because it was the first (and probably only) writing rule I learned and remembered. So there.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to sharing my kitchen escapades with you, so please keep reading!
KThxBai!!!
